“It’s always an exciting privilege to work with Mike Lacey. I have complete trust in him as a director, a creative, a leader, and a generator of ideas…and he has never let me down.
Collaborating with him means always feeling in safe hands, no matter how complex or challenging the project. Mike approaches his work with skill and integrity, and will always deliver the best results possible.
As well as a great talent, he is fair, inclusive, and a wonderful company member; making him a great asset to any team lucky enough to work with him.”
Kate Oates – Head of Continuing Drama
“I would recommend Mike to anyone looking for someone reliable to do anything. He is driven to direct, so that’s what he does but with the skill, creativity, enthusiasm, energy, discretion, commitment and good judgement he would bring to any task, but that is not common to everyone.
His desire to get the best out of all he works with translates as a collaborative leader with a clear vision that is irresistible and engaging. Every project I’ve worked with him on has been realised with finesse and delivered with aplomb.
He’ll always be on my shortlist of directors.”
